THIRD PHASE OF DRY CREEK SHARED-USE PATH HEADS TO CITY COUNCIL
The city of Sedona will take the third phase of the Dry Creek Road Shared-Use Path Project to City Council for contract approval on Tuesday, June 24. This phase runs from Gringo Road to White Bear Road, where it will connect with the existing shared-use path. Final design plans are available here.
This project is an important part of the Sedona Trails & Pathways System and has been constructed in phases since 2021. This project will allow safer pedestrian access along Dry Creek Road and will continue to make Sedona a more walkable and bikeable community.
Phase 1 and Phase 2 are complete!
As part of the Sedona Trails & Pathways System (ST&PS), the city built Phase One of the path from Two Fence Trail to Forest Road 152 in 2021. In early 2025, the city completed Phase Two of the new shared-use pathway along Dry Creek Road, which runs from the Two Fence Trail to just north of Gringo Road. Phase Three (slated to begin in Summer 2025) will extend the path from Gringo Road to White Bear Road. Phase Four will extend the path all the way to SR89A.
Stay tuned for more information regarding the start of Phase Three!
