Phase 3 Complete!

The Dry Creek Road shared-use path (SUP) between White Bear Rd. and Vultee Trailhead (FR 152) is now complete! The final short section between White Bear Road and SR89A is in the works. The completion of this portion of SUP means we have over 12-miles of SUP throughout the City, with an anticipated 20+ more planned in the future. This SUP is part of our Sedona Trails and Pathways System (ST&PS) and is made from both compacted decomposed granite in lesser populated areas and colored concrete closer to the highway. The entire SUP has paver driveway crossings, with two added raised pedestrian crossings and a new speed bump. The majority of this pathway has space between it and Dry Creek Road, separating users from vehicular traffic for added safety. Arizona Ash shade trees and other native vegetation have been planted, creating a spectacularly scenic pathway.
