Phase 3 under construction!
PHASE 3 OF DRY CREEK SHARED-USE PATH TO BEGIN!
On Monday, July 14, the city of Sedona and their contractor, Doege Development, LLC, began working on Phase Three of the shared-use pathway along Dry Creek Road, from just north of Gringo Road to White Bear Road (shown in green in the map). This new section of shared-use path will connect to Phase Two of the project, which runs between Two Fence Trail to just north of Gringo Road. The new pathway will be a naturalized path made of stabilized decomposed granite from Gringo Road to Topkie Drive, then concrete from Topkie Drive to White Bear Road. This project will allow safer pedestrian access along Dry Creek Road and will continue to make Sedona a more walkable and bikeable community. The project is scheduled to be complete in early 2026.
Phase 1 and Phase 2 are complete!
As part of the Sedona Trails & Pathways System (ST&PS), the city built Phase One of the path from Two Fence Trail to Forest Road 152 in 2021. In early 2025, the city completed Phase Two of the new shared-use pathway along Dry Creek Road, which runs from the Two Fence Trail to just north of Gringo Road. Phase Three will extend the path from Gringo Road to White Bear Road. Phase Four will extend the path all the way to SR89A.
